Senior Director, Finance
Bringing to light
The numerous ways in which numbers can tell stories.
The basics
Paul is a nonprofit finance leader with more than a decade of experience building accounting and financial systems for mission-driven organizations. As Director of Finance at the Fair Food Program, a human rights organization, he scaled the department through 250% budget growth — overseeing multi-entity finance, grant compliance, and external audit ownership. He began his career in corporate FP&A at IBM as a revenue and expense analyst and later served as Accounting and Office Manager at the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. Paul approaches finance as infrastructure for accountability rather than overhead, and is drawn to organizations working on climate, food, and labor justice. He served as treasurer of the Jewish Farmer Network and president of a food cooperative, and has been involved in climate organizing. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University and lives in South Lake Tahoe, California.
How do you find meaning and come together?
Paul finds meaning through building and contributing to the community in his small mountain town of South Lake Tahoe, CA. He also enjoys skiing and cycling with his partner and dogs, finding the best vegan food while traveling, and volunteering for the causes that are closest to his heart.
