Kate Holsapple She/Her

Board Chair

Kate Holsapple brings to light leadership and volunteerism in Jewish community no matter where she calls home. She has been active in the Las Vegas, Louisville and Pittsburgh Federation Young Leadership programs, serving in various board and committee roles, coordinating fundraising, and leading Mitzvah Days. In Pittsburgh she completed their Wechsler Leadership Program and in San Francisco she completed the Federation Fellows program, where she was fortunate to join UpStart as a Fellow and then Board Member, and is now the Chair of the UpStart Board. She now lives in Delaware County, Pennsylvania where she is active with the Jewish Relief Agency’s meal delivery program.

Professionally, Kate has an analytical mind with a passion for people. She started her career in hospitality working in Revenue Management for casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Realizing her devotion to culture and people development, she transitioned into Human Resources and completed various work experiences with Walt Disney Studios, GE, IDEO, and Certain, Inc. Currently she is the SVP, People Operations for Remind, a communication platform that reaches students and parents where they are.  Her personal pursuits involve her dog, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, traveling, and, of course, volunteering.
