
Lindsey Newman She/Her
Board Member
Lindsey Newman has over a decade of experience advancing racial justice in the Jewish community. During that time her work has focused on helping organizations find the right tools to develop equity strategies for long term impact. Lindsey serves as the Director of Community Engagement for Be’chol Lashon, an organization that advocates for the racial, ethnic and cultural diversity of the Jewish community. Lindsey participated in the 2016 Selah Leadership Cohort, was a 2018 Fellow of the Ruskay Institute for Jewish Professional Leadership and received her B.S. degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Lindsey previously served on the boards of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco where she co-founded and chaired the Racial Justice Task Force and NCJW San Francisco. A proud native of New York City, Lindsey now enjoys exploring her new home city of Los Angeles.
