COLLABORATORY

CONNECTING AND STRENGTHENING GRASSROOTS JEWISH LEADERS SHAPING THE FUTURE.

FEBRUARY 22-24 | LOUISVILLE, KY

About the Event

Since October 7, people like you – parents, young adults, students, professionals, and activists across North America – have been gathering in living rooms, community centers, WhatsApp groups, and campus lounges. A new generation of activists have been awakened by Jewish pride, a desire for Jewish community, and the fight against antisemitism. You’ve been hosting holiday celebrations, launching networks, leading actions, and having hard conversations.

This network exists for people who didn’t wait for permission, who filled gaps, who turned shock and urgency into action. People like you who built trust, gathered allies, and developed new responses. We’re here to support you. To back that courage, make the work easier, and connect you to others building a new movement of proud Jews across the continent. Join us!

Why it matters

Building Vibrant, Inclusive Communities
People of all backgrounds and identities should feel they belong, can grow, and are treated with dignity.

Supporting Israel and the Jewish People Worldwide
We honor the ties that link the Jewish people to the State of Israel. We support Israel’s right to exist in security and peace, and we hold hope for a future where Israelis and Palestinians live side by side with dignity, self-determination, and full equality. We welcome a diversity of views on Israeli policies, but draw the line at rejecting Israel’s existence or endorsing violence.

Navigating Politics and Advocacy Wisely
Our members may engage in political advocacy, but the network itself will not endorse political candidates or parties. We foster civic engagement and pluralistic dialogue without becoming a vehicle for partisan agendas.

Welcoming Diverse Views with Respect
We see disagreement as an essential part of Jewish and American civic life and a source of strength. We set boundaries against hate, bigotry, or incitement and commit to good-faith dialogue.

Guided by Compassion and Responsibility
Our Jewish values call us to build a world rooted in compassion and responsibility for our communities and for all people.

Who Should Join

This grassroots convening brings together Jewish leaders who emerged from within their own communities in the wake of October 7. Grounded in lived experience rather than top-down strategy, it exists to support that courage, strengthen impact, and foster connection among these leaders. While this energy is present across Jewish life, this gathering will focus on six key areas.

  • Campus Organizers: Jewish alumni and faculty who are stepping up to support today’s students and campuses. They rally alumni networks to strengthen Jewish life, counter antisemitism, and partner with university leaders to create safer, more vibrant campus environments.
  • K–12 Educators & School Advocates: Parents and educators shaping how Jewish life and history show up in schools. They push for accurate Holocaust and Jewish education, run for and serve on school boards, influence curricula, and build inclusive environments that respond thoughtfully when Jewish students or issues arise.
  • Workplace & ERG Leaders: Professionals elevating Jewish identity in the workplace. They organize employee resource groups, advise leadership on Jewish inclusion, and create spaces where Jewish employees can feel visible, supported, and safe.
  • Civic Organizers: Grassroots leaders who stepped up when a ballot measure, candidate, or local issue threatened to reshape their community. Shock turned into action as they organized neighbors, educated voters, and built campaigns — win or lose.
  • Arts & Culture Catalysts: Creators and cultural changemakers amplifying Jewish stories. They write, produce, publish, and build platforms that expand Jewish cultural visibility and counter erasure in arts, media, and publishing.
  • Jews in Secular Spaces: Jewish professionals working in nonprofits and government who often navigate environments where Jewish identity is invisible or misunderstood. They’re finding ways to bring their full selves to work, build supportive networks, and create space for Jewish life and leadership in largely secular settings.
Why it matters

Three days of connection, skill-building, and co-creating the future of the grassroots Jewish ecosystem.

Plenary Sessions — Inspiration and real stories from people who are leading the charge in this moment.

Working Sessions — Interactive sessions to develop tactics and strategy in specific communities (e.g., campus alumni, ERGs, educators, arts & culture, political organizers).

Learning Sessions — Skills training and intentional networking across types of work.
